Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan celebrated Gudi Padwa, the beginning of the Marathi New Year at an event in Juhu, Mumbai, today. Aishwarya looked beautiful as ever in her anarkali suit. Abhishek Bachchan looked smart in white kurta pyjama teamed with saffroon jacket.

Bollywood’s blue eyed beauty, Aishwarya and her loving husband Abhishek were surrounded and greeted by massive crowd of their fans. Huge number of people gathered around just to catch a glimpse of the two.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is all set to make her comeback in Bollywood, was seen offering prayers with husband Abhishek Bachchan for a happy and prosperous new year. On the stage, the two were often caught in candid moments, talking to each other, smiling or just looking at each other with awe. Aishwarya won hearts of the people present during the event when she wished everyone Happy Gudi Padwa in Marathi. Whereas Abhishek wished, “Today is the new year and we hope that this year is prosperous for you,” to everyone.

On work front, Aishwarya is all set to make her Bollywood comeback in Sanjay Gupta‘s upcoming action drama film Jazbaa. The film also stars Irrfan Khan, Anupam Kher and Shabana Azmi. Whereas, we will get to see Abhishek Bachchan in Hera Pheri 3. Directed by Neeraj Vora, the film stars John Abraham, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal.
