Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a favorite choice for the advertisers. Aishwarya is trying to get back to the limelight after giving birth to little Aaradhya, dearest grand daughter of the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.While on one hand she is promoting a product with her husband Abhishek Bachchan who was last seen and hugely appreciated in Happy New Year; she also promotes the jewellery brand Kalyan Jewellers, where she inaugurated the 4th store of the jewellery brand in Ghatkopar East, Mumbai which in total costs a whooping 800 crore. Her father-in-law Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is also a brand ambassador of the brand.
Mrs. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took to the store in the afternoon of November 8, and was seen promoting the brand and interacting with the media for the same.
Headquartered in Thissur, Kerala, South India, the store already has 3 branches in Mumbai- Navi Mumbai, Thane and Borivali, all of which were launched in March last year. Apart from Mumbai, Kalyan Jewellers has a presence in Gujarat, South India, Maharashtra, Delhi and Punjab. A project plan has been set up to increase the base to Jalandhar and Bhubaneshwar too.
On an international scale, Kalyan Jewellers is located an UAE and the plans are to expand the base to Singapore, Malaysia, Kuwait and Qatar.
Kalyan Jewellers has managed to attract an investment of Rs. 1,200 crores from Warburg Pincus, a private equity investor.
Also present at the event, Mr. T S Kalyanaraman, Chairman and Managing Director, Kalyan Jewellers believes the demand of his store on a ever increase for Kalyan Jewellers provides its customers with unique and exquisite designs in pure gold. He also mentioned that the increase in demands would soften the gold price, which will help Kalyan Jewellers achieve a revenue of Rs. 25,000 crores.
