Maoists warn Akshay Kumar for helping the families of the martyrs!
The Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has always been in front when it comes to helping the poor and the needy. Whether it was helping the drought hit farmers in Maharashtra or the families of the martyred soldiers, he has proven to be a hero even off-screen.
But it would have come as a shock to the actor when he was threatened for helping someone. The local units of the banned party- Communist Party of India (Maoist), have threatened the actor for providing financial assistance to the families of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans, who were killed in a Naxal ambush in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh in March, this year.

The ace badminton player Saina Nehwal was also warned along with the actor.
The Maoists have distributed pamphlets in their area condemning the noble act of Akshay. They have mentioned in the pamphlets that the actor should not be helping the families of the jawans. In fact, it also read that they should be supporting the tribals instead!
Akshay Kumar had funded the families of all 12 CRPF soldiers with Rs 9 Lakh each. He had also started a web portal and also a mobile app – Bharat Ke Veer. Here people, who willingly want to contribute in the good cause, can donate for the families of Central Armed Police Force or Central Para Military Forces.
The actor had told Times Of India, ”This website has been made exactly in two and a half months. About three months, this idea came to my mind, while watching a documentary film on terrorists, which showed how terror leaders financially support the families of the terrorist who carry out terror acts.”
He further added, ”Everybody wants to connect to people in uniform in their pain. It was a small dream and to fulfill this dream, our government really helped us. I want to thank everybody with my folded hands. My father was in Army and I am here as his son.”
