Brothers, official remake of the Hollywood movie Warriors stars Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles. It also stars Jackie Shroff in a pivotal role.
The movie is produced by Dharma productions, thus making the movie a third time broadcasted movie of Karan Johar and Sidharth Malhotra together. It is the first time Akshay Kumar works with Dharma. Brothers, directed by Karan Malhotra, is one of a kind since it involves not only a fight, but intensive fights amongst brothers. Sidharth Malhotra was making news for his rigorous training to fit into the role of a boxer. He specialised in martial arts and gained around 10 kgs for the special need of his character in the movie.
Jacqueline Fernandez will also be seen romancing the very talented and versatile actor Sidharth Malhotra for the first time.

The movie Brothers was set to be released on October 2, 2015, because Akshay Kumar wanted his movie Singh Is Bling (a remake of his original Singh Is King) to release on July 31, 2015. However, Akshay seems to have a lot of appreciation for the movie Brothers, that he shifted the dates, and now we have a confirmation that Akshay Kumar will be releasing the very awaited movie Brothers on July 31 rather than October 2. We wonder what could be the reason for it!
The confirmation of this news was tweeted by Ashvini Yardi of Akshay Kumar and wife Twinkle Khanna‘s production house Grazing Goat Pictures. The tweet was:
