Producer Akshay Kumar will be seen playing God in the upcoming film ‘OMG Oh My God!’. Reports suggest that the actor has designed his own look for the filmfor his role of Krishna Vasudev Yadav.
The most interesting aspect about this character will be his bike. The actor will be seen riding a stylized bike for which he got a customized license plate with symbols of the three religions, Hinduism, Islam and Christianity. The license plate has ‘OM’, ‘786’ and ‘The Cross’ imprinted on it. This unique license plate not only substantiates the divine aspect in his character, but also symbolizes equality among the three religions.
‘OMG Oh My God!’, starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Mithun Chakraborty, is about Kanji Mehta (Paresh Rawal), an atheist, who sues God because an earthquake destroys his antique shop. Amidst his legal tussles, he runs into Krishna Vasudev Yadav (played by Akshay Kumar), a man who claims to be God.
What follows is a journey of epic proportions, of self-realization and legal masterstrokes.
The film, written and directed by UmeshShukla, is based on the popular Hindi play ‘Kishan vs Kanhaiya’ and is set torelease on September 28.
