The youth power of Bollywood was on full display at the announcement ceremony of the 11th Max Stardust Awards 2013. We spotted youngsters Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan (of Karan Johar’s sleeper hit ‘Student Of The Year’). Accompanying this trio was Esha Gupta.
The patriarch of the Stardust group is the legendary Nari Hira, who owns the Mumbai-based Magna Publishing Co. Ltd, which publishes Stardust. This stalwart of the publishing world was also present at the announcement press con.
The fabulous four i.e. Alia, Siddharth, Varun and Esha were dressed in their stylish best for this prestigious magazine’s event launch. Sid chose a classic combo: a white shirt and blue jeans, and we must say he looked tres dapper indeed. Alia wore the reverse of his colour scheme: clad in a pair of white skinnies, a white singlet and a bright blue blazer, the 19 year old actress once again got our nod for her stylish ensemble. Esha was eccentrically dressed in a bright pink kimono top and black high-waisted trousers, a look that was not quite in line with the theme the other stars chose. And handsome hunk Varun, who had recently made everyone’s jaws drop with his shirtless act a-la Salman Khan at the Zee Cine awards, stuck to traditional black, for the event.
The future of Bollywood looks very bright indeed, going by the absolute raw energy these youngsters are exuding these days. Film and TV promos, advertisements, reality TV show appearances: they’ve accomplished all this and so much more, at such a tender young age. Moreover, the unity and bonhomie these young ones display, along with a natural but healthy competitive spirit is commendable, and we sure are proud of our Bollywood bacchas!
