All’s Not Well Between Aishwarya Rai Bachchan- Karan Johar? Here’s What Happened!

All’s not well between Karan Johar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan?

The reports about a fall-out between close friends Karan Johar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is doing rounds. This is rumoured because Karan Johar skipped her father’s funeral.

Before this, it was said that after the success of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Karan Johar expressed interest in doing another film with the Bachchan bahu. But Ash has been giving him a cold shoulder and the two have not been on good terms since.

Reportedly, Aishwarya was keen on promoting ADHM, KJo didn’t want her to step in, in the absence of Anushka Sharma. Apparently, the director didn’t want to confuse the audience about the female lead in the film. While Anushka was the female protagonist, Ash just had an extended cameo. That didn’t go down well with Aishwarya who has been giving Karan a cold shoulder ever since.

It’s been buzzing that this is considered as one of the reasons why KJo skipped Ash’s father’s funeral. But this news is false. The truth is that Karan had been busy with his kids Yash and Roohi, who are both in NICU since their birth.

The source who gave this insight added that, “The kids are supposed to come home any day now. Karan has been spending most of his free time at the hospital or making arrangements for the kids at home.”

Further, the source said, he did visit Abhi-Ash at Lilavati hospital. “Aishwarya is currently mourning the death of her father and will be out of public eye for some time now. Till then, we will just have to wait and watch to know if Karan and Aishwarya have gone from being friends-to-foes or if they have sorted issues (if any) between them.”

Krishnaraj Rai, Aishwarya’s father, passed away on March 18. His funeral was attended by many Bollywood biggies right from Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali to Sridevi, Kajol, Shraddha Kapoor, Twinkle Khanna among others.
