According to the talks and behind the scenes gossips, Amitabh Bachchan has given a nickname for Deepika, who plays the role of a daughter in the movie. Big B calls Deepika as DeePiku, combination of Deepika and their movie title Piku.
Other cast and crew along with actors Deepika and Irrfan Khan call Amitabh Bachchan as Baba showing a great feeling of a father.

Piku is directed by Shoojit Sarcar starring Deepika Padukone, Irrfan Khan, Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles. Piku is scheduled for release on April 30, 2015. The film has been shot in Kolkata and Deepika and Big B will be seen playing Bengali characters.
