The team of Shamitabh is in full swing promoting their film across several countries. After promoting the film in different states of India, Shamitabh’s team flew all the way to London for the promotion. And now the cast was snapped at Dubai during the promotional event.
The 72-year-old ace actor Amitabh Bachchan looked dapper in his suit that he paired with a black scarf. Talking about his experience during Shamitabh Mr. Bachchan stated that he was impressed by Dhanush’s dedication and his skills to keep his character intact even while doing the scenes with Mr. Bachchan’s voice.
Shamitabh is a story about a wannabe actor who becomes famous because of Amitabh Bachchan’s legendary voice. The movie is a completely fresh story in the history of Bollywood. To pull off this difficult task of dubbing a different actor’s performance was overwhelming, about which Amitabh Bachchan shared his experience.
“We dubbed three times for this film, whose plot is the first of its kind in Hindi cinema. It was important to match facial expressions to dialogue,” said Mr. Bachchan.
When asked about his progress with learning Hindi, actor Dhanush laughed and responded saying he is getting better. Referring to his debut movie with Sonam Kapoor Ranjhanaa, Dhanush stated, “It’s much better than it used to be. I used to memorize all the dialogues!”
Actress Akshara Haasan is making her debut with Shamitabh, which releases on February 6th. The actress looked very excited during the event dressed casually in a black dress.
