There’s some good news for Varun Dhawan fans. If the news is to be believed, Varun Dhawan may share screen space with the superstar Amitabh Bachchan in a YRF film, titled ‘Dabba Gul.’ According to the reports, “Bachchan Sr plays the head of the dabbawalas in Mumbai whereas Varun is an MBA topper and he decides to enroll for a two-month internship with the dabbawalas.”
We hear that the story would revolve around the relationship between Big B and Varun’s characters as the former tries to teach the business to the latter. Looks like the film would showcase the subject of dignity of labour and the humor in the film would be similar to that of the Munna Bhai franchise. Dabba Gul would be directed by the Parineeta fame Pradeep Sarkar.
However, the young lad says that it’s just a rumor. Varun while speaking at India Nightlife Convention Awards said, “There is nothing confirmed yet. Honestly everything is just a rumour.” When asked if he would like to collaborate with the megastar, Varun said, “Who wouldn’t want to work with Mr. Bachchan. As of now this is just a rumour.”
After receiving a positive response from Pink, Big B will be next seen in another YRF banner film, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ sharing screen space with Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist, Aamir Khan. On the other hand, Varun who was last seen in Dishoom will be next seen in ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Judwaa 2’
If everything goes well, this will be the first time Big B and Varun will share screen space together.
