When Sonam Kapoor got an award for being the best actress in Neerja, father Anil Kapoor took a moment of pride and showered love on his daughter.
The father showered enough blessings and appreciation on the daughter who was awarded as the Filmfare Best Actor (Female) Critics’ Choice last night with her brilliant performance in Neerja. Anil Kapoor took on to social media to post a picture of the daughter Sonam. Sonam is dressed in a white frock and its a black and white picture.
This is what he captioned to the pic he shared-
“So proud of you,” the father captioned the Instagram post. “not just for the award, but also for your choices & decisions… You know who you are & you’ve never backed down from a challenge and that’s amazing to watch as a father and actor… Congratulations beta…”
Other family members too took on to their social media profiles to congratulate the actress. The Raanjhana actress Sonam Kapoor played Neerja Bhanot in the film Neerja who sacrificed her life for her passengers in the Pan Am flight that got hijacked by Palestinian terrorists in 1986.
Directed by Ram Madhvani, the film is adapted from the real incidents from Neerja Bhanot’s life. Neerja was known as a model and as a flight attendant.
