Ekta Kapoor and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap only recently came together to collaborate on Abishek Chaubey‘s upcoming film Udta Punjab, which is being produced by Anurag’s Phantom Films and Balaji. Recent reports suggest that Ekta Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap will once again collaborate with each other and work as director and producer. Yes, apparently, Ekta Kapoor has roped in filmmaker Anurag Kashyap to director one of her films.

Nor Ekta, neither Anurag revealed any details about their project together. But it is said that Balaji signed Anurag long back to direct a film. The project didn’t start because Ekta hasn’t found the perfect script for Anurag yet.

It is known that Anurag and Ekta have a really strong bond with each other and share a very good rapport. Their film Udta Punjab stars Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Dilijit Dosanjh. Currently, Kareena and Diljit are shooting for the film in Punjab. Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, the thriller film is based on drug trafficking in Punjab. Only recently, Alia Bhatt left to join the team of Udta Punjab and begin with the shoot.
