Arjun Rampal is all charged and seems quite gleeful about his upcoming movie Roy. The movie is being directed by debutante director Vikramjit Singh and also starts Ranbir Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandes in a double lead role. According to our sources, Ranbir Kapoor has a cameo in Roy.
The story of Roy revolves around a thief, and a love triangle between Arjun Rampal, Jacqueline Fernandes and Ranbir Kapoor.
“There is no better place in the world than on a movie set. Started filming Roy. Congratulations Vicky super first shot. Make the movie you dream.” Arjun Rampal took on to twitter as soon as the first shot of his film Roy was canned. So excited was Arjun Rampal that he uploaded a selfie of him while he was at the sets for the movie’s shoot.
Year 2013 was quite a dull year for Arjun with his films like Inkaar, D-day and Satyagrah falling flat at the Box Office but now with Roy things and hopefully a sequel to Rock On, things look quite bright for this National Award Winner.
On the personal front, thing were had become a bit unpleased for Arjun Rampal when he was in news for allegedly being the person responsible for the divorce of Hrithik Roshan and Sussane Khan.
However, Arjun Rampal had denied it in a statement, “It is very sad when friends close to you take a decision to separate. These are the hardest times for them and we must be sensitive towards this decision, rather than creating speculation and rumours. I read in the news, about the same time as you all, about my involvement in this marriage. It saddens me deeply that rumours become inevitable during celebrities going through such times. Mehr and I wish them only peace and love through these times, and support them as friends should, and we wish them and their families well, always.”
All said and done all seems well now and Arjun is back on the sets doing what he loves most and that’s acting.
Coming back to Roy, well the film was announced in December 2013 and is expected to release in 2015 by T-Series. The music of the film is to be composed by Pritam and Mithoon.
