More Arsenal For Bang Bang! Director Ropes In Two More Directors!

Bang Bang Cover PicNow, this surely is a first for Bollywood. Director Siddharth Anand, who is busy at work, shooting for the Hrithik Roshan starrer Bang Bang, will rope in two additional directors on the team.

Siddharth Anand confirmed the news that he has roped in Abbas Tyrewala and Sujoy Ghosh, as additional names in the writing department. Abbas is best known for Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, while Sujoy’s Kahaani is renowned.

Said Siddharth, “Yes, the information you have is true. The writing department of Bang Bang has the likes of Sujoy Ghosh and Abbas Tyrewala. In fact, Sujoy and Suresh Nair, the team that wrote the brilliant screenplay of Kahaani (2012) is writing the screenplay.”

He further added, “I don’t have words to describe what Abbas brings to the table. He is simply awesome. He and I had worked together in my first directorial venture, so it’s just great to team up with him again.”

Apart from a brilliant writing team, the film shall also have some super locations. A source on the film’s production unit also revealed that the film would include scenes featuring some of Abu Dhabi’s best-known landmarks. “We would like to film at Emirates Palace, but we haven’t decided yet. We will also be shooting at the Capital Gate.”

The leaning tower; known to some as Abu Dhabi’s own Tower of Pisa –  is on the film location map and is bound to attract more Indian visitors to enjoy its panoramic views.

“We have also shat at the bridge to nowhere, as this is a quiet spot which is ideal for action scenes,” the source said. “We don’t have plans to actually film at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, out of respect for the people who would be using the space, but we will try to feature the landmark in some way from a distance.” reveiled our source.

Bang Bang is the official remake of Hollywood flick Knight And Day, and stars Katrina Kaif as the female lead, along with Hrithik Roshan.
