[tps_footer]Arshad Warsi is a bundle of nerves and is anxiously waiting for the New Year because not one but two of his films are opening up within the span on one week. Mr Joe B. Carvalho hits the theatres on January 03, 2014 and Dedh Ishqiya on January 10, 2014.
“Mr Joe B. Carvalho and Dedh Ishqiya both are releasing in January 2014. This is the most scariest New Year till now,” Arshad posted on Twitter.
Both the films are poles apart in tears of the character that Arshad Warsi is playing as well as the era that they are set it. Mr Joe B. Carvalho, is contemporary, modern and very today, while Dedh Ishqiya is very rustic and has an old time charm and feel to it.
“Mr Joe B. Carvalho is not a regular film. It is a clean and straight face funny film on the lines of Angoor. On the other hand, Dedh Ishqiya is in a completely different space, and the characters are more funny and complex. It is much better than its prequel, Ishqiya. However, Babban is exactly the same and there is no difference,” says a very anxious Arshad Warsi.

When questioned about the Rs 100 crore and Rs 200 crore clubs, Arshad feels that it is all very overrated.
“It’s great when the film industry makes money, but I feel these figures are manipulated many times. I believe one should aim to do make good films rather than focusing on figures. A film is remembered more for its content and quality than for these figures,” states Arshad.
Arshad is also very optimistic about the third installment of Munna Bhai Series. Time has made him what he is today. He states that the third installment of the series will happen once Sanjay Dutt will complete his jail term. According to him, the film is in its scripting stage and the moment Sanjay Dutt comes out will they start working on the same.
Here’s wishing Arshad Warsi a very Happy New Year and we do hope that both his films, Mr Joe B. Carvalho and Dedh Ishqiya rock at the Box-Office.[/tps_footer]
