MUMBAI: Prakash Jha who was in the news recently, for having plans of making a film on the controversial religious speaker Asaram, denied all reports about any such film being made.
After numerous reports (Read Report Here) on the very controversial topic hit the net, the troubled director said, “I don’t know why this whole thing started, and who started it.”
Prakash specified, “I am not making any film on Asaram Bapu. I think it’s in very bad taste to launch a film just because there’s a juicy controversy around it.”
The director has been known for multiple political and socio-political films like ‘Gangaajal’ (2003), ‘Apaharan’ (2005), ‘Raajneeti’ (2010), ‘Aarakshan’ (2011), ‘Chakravyuh’ (2012) and the recent release ‘Satyagraha’ (2013).
“‘Satsang’ is not about self-styled holy men,” added the troubled director, clearing the air about his new film.
