Earlier this year, Salman Khan ended his association with his 14-year-old manager, Reshma Shetty. Reportedly, Salman fired her due to her interference in his personal life. It was reported that Sohail Khan wanted his brother Salman to make a guest appearance on his comedy show, ‘Chote Miyan’. But Reshma didn’t plan that up for Salman, which angered Sohail.
Now according to reports, Salman Khan’s same manager has begun managing Abhishek Bachchan’s career. It is being said that Abhishek’s wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the one who suggested him to hire Reshma Shetty as his manager to boost his career.
Deccan Chronical quoted a source close to the Bachchans saying, ”Aishwarya felt Abhishek’s career needed a small push to catapult him to the top bracket once again. Of late, he hasn’t signed new films and is choosing to focus on the best possible projects. Following his revamped priorities, his first new project will be Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s biopic on poet-lyricist, Sahir Ludhianvi. Reshma has been brought in to oversee Abhishek’s forthcoming career moves and to position him as a prominent entertainment brand.”
The same report also suggests that Akshay Kumar also signed on Reshma Shetty, but there’s no confirmation on this.
Meanwhile, it is being reported that ‘Manmarziyan’ makers have approached Abhishek Bachchan for the film. It is being said that Junior Bachchan will be teaming up with Taapsee and Vicky for the project? However, we will have to wait for the official confirmation regarding the same.
