MUMBAI: Salman Khan, the quintessential Bollywood fitness freak recently indulged the cyclist in himself by taking advantage of the ‘car free’ day on Carter Road, in Bandra, Mumbai.
Sunday was classified as car free day at Carter Road, where the usually busy Mumbai suburb was given a chance to breathe.
Cars were prohibited from entering the seaside boulevard, and only cyclists and walkers/ joggers were given entry. People in the surrounding areas had a great time walking, running, stretching their legs, exercising and generally enjoying the pollution and traffic-free afternoon.
And this is exactly what our very own Salman Khan was seen doing as well!
Salman Khan is known to shun his luxury SUV’s and sedans in favour of the humble auto-rides he’s frequently seen indulging in. Further, Salman is known to be a cycling enthusiast, and thus on Sunday he grabbed the opportunity to go cycling in his neighbourhood.
Seen in a light grey ‘Being Human’ sweatshirt and a pair of vivid red tracks, Sallu bhai as he is fondly known, was cycling round on his super bike. A pair of sunglasses shielded him from the harsh Mumbai sunlight, and soon enough Salman attracted a gaggle of curious onlookers, who were keen to catch a glimpse of their favourite ‘Dabangg’ superstar.
