Being Human: Salman Khan Sends Water To Grief Stricken Families

Salman Khan has dispatched more than 2000 tankers of water to the drought hit region near Aurangabad in Maharashtra.

MUMBAI: The actor with the heart of gold, Salman Khan has dispatched more than 2000 tankers with a storage capacity of 2,000 litres to the drought hit region near Aurangabad in Maharashtra.

The people of the Marathwada region have been facing acute water scarcity caused by uneven distribution of rainfall in the state, recently. Through his NGO ‘Being Human’, the ‘Dabangg’ superstar has lent a helping hand to the many grief stricken families.

Said Deputy Collector of Beed, Ganesh Nirai, “‘Being Human’ has offered to distribute water and their people are in touch with the district officials. It will take nearly 10 to 12 days to provide water to the needy people.”

Salman Khan, through his foundation will provide water tankers to the drought affected districts of Marathwada from May 6 to 31.

750 water tankers will go to Beed, 500 each to Osmanabad and Jalna, and 250 each to Aurangabad and Nanded.
