[tps_footer]After a number of film makers vouched for the Udta Punjab makers who are locking horns with the censor board over suggesting 89 cuts in the movie, Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan joined the crowd saying that “killing creativity” can kill the “souls” of artistes.
At a press conference for his upcoming movie TE3N, the 73-year-old veteran actor was asked to make a comment on the recent controversy hovering around Udta Punjab — a movie based on the festering problem of drugs in Punjab and he simply cracked the whip by saying
“I am not quite aware of what the issue is. I have been reading about it. All I can say is that don’t try and kill creativity. If you kill creativity, you kill the soul and that is all that we (artistes) have.”
“I know that there are rules and regulations… That’s something that the government has to decide. But as an artiste and a creative person, all I can say is that don’t kill creativity.”
Looks like even Big B is with the Udta Punjab team. CBFC seems to be pretty disturbed already![/tps_footer]
