3 Idiots(2009) –  This film is loosely adapted from the novel ‘five point something’ of Chetan Bhagat where Aamir Khan played the role of an engineer along with R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi. This film was a mega hit and hit the 100 crore club within weeks of its release. His actress in this movie was Kareena Kapoor who was lauded for her performance.
