MUMBAI: It was a glitzy, glamorous, star-studded night, when a host of Bollywood stars descended on the red carpet for the premiere of Ayan Mukherjee’s latest film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’.
Ayan played the perfect host with his team of A-list actors: Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin, as they welcomed guests to the filmy premiere. Producer Karan Johar, dressed in black, was one of the first to arrive, and was visibly happy with the arrangements and the turn out.
Celebrity guests like Kunaal Roy Kapur (Aditya’s older brother, last seen in ‘Nautanki Saala’) came with his parents to support Aditya. Designer Rocky S, Evelyn Sharma, and many others were also present.
Ranbir was seen showing off his swagger at the venue, dressed sharply in a black shirt, jeans and a cool steel grey blazer. Deepika went ethnic in a white asymmetrical anarkali: very edgy, very chic. Aditya kept it casual in a navy shirt and jeans, as is his usual relaxed shrug-like style, while Kalki emerged the fashion winner in a pair of white shorts, a matching blazer and a casual ganjee. On display were also her pearly whites, in a full-toothed smile, which was genuine and heartfelt
Everyone present at the premiere were busy congratulating the young filmmaker on his interesting love-story.
‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is out in cinemas today.
