MUMBAI: Bipasha Basu is enjoying a resurgence in film roles. After earning a role in Sajid Khan ‘Humshakals’ opposite Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor, she will be seen in a small but pivotal role in Siddharth Anand’s action movie ‘Bang Bang’.
‘Bang Bang’ already stars Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif but is currently on a break as Hrithik Roshan recovers from his brain surgery. The second schedule will begin in November and Bipasha Basu is expected to join them for that.
Bipasha Basu was in Siddharth Anand’s previous film ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and has also starred with Hrithik Roshan in the action movie ‘Dhoom 2’, even though they did not share scenes together.
A source says, “The film’s lead actor is Katrina Kaif, while Bipasha has a smaller part in it. Bipasha Basu shares a great rapport with Siddharth. So when he offered her the part, she immediately agreed to do it.”
Bipasha Basu is currently busy with Vikram Bhatt’s horror film ‘Creature 3D’ and Sajid Khan’s comedy ‘Humshakals’. Her fans will definitely be happy to see her back on screen again.
‘Bang Bang’ will release on 2 October, 2014.
