MUMBAI: If all goes well, desi Bollywood star Bipasha Basu may step into the illustrious shoes of American supermodel Tyra Banks!
Bipasha is all set to foray into television, that too with the Indian version of the super-famous TV show ‘America’s Next Top Model’, which is hosted by none other than model par excellence Tyra Banks.
For a while now, rumours had been circulating of Bipasha Basu’s TV debut. Now, she has been signed on to play the role of mentor to Indian model aspirants on the home-grown version of the hit reality TV show.
A source reveals candidly: “Bipasha will be the mentor and will be part of the grooming and motivation sessions for the aspiring models. She will be part of the entire show and auditions of the models have already started.”
Bipasha is likely to join the league of Bollywood celebrities who have had successful stints on TV, including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Shilpa Shetty and many others.
Added the source: “The shooting is likely to begin in August and will continue for about three months.”
