MUMBAI: The shooting for Madhuri Dixit’s much-talked-about comeback film ‘Gulaab Gang’ has been completed and the film is now into its post-production stage.
Loosely inspired by Uttar Pradesh-based social activist Sampat Pal and her Gulabi Gang, which works towards liberation of women in the state, the film is being directed by Soumik Sen.
‘Gulaab Gang’ is being produced by Anubhav Sinha, who shared the news through a Twitter post Sunday and wrote:

The official uniform for Pal’s Gulabi Gang is pink sari, and the cast and crew cut a pink cake to celebrate the completion of the movie’s shooting.
Actress Juhi Chawla will be seen in a negative role in this social drama that also features Huma Qureshi of “Gangs of Wasseypur” fame.
