In 1998, the actress won the National Film Awards for Best Supporting Role In Dil Toh Pagal Hai. Karisma won four Filmfares; Best Supporting Actress Award for Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Best Actress Award for Raja Hindustani and Fiza, Critics Award for Best Actress for Zubeidaa. She won two Screen Awards; Best Supporting Actress for Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Best Actress for Fiza. Karisma also won two IIFA Best Actress Awards for FIza and Raja Hindustani and many more awards.
