Vidya Balan walked in with her co-star Ali Fazal to promote her film Bobby Jasoos the Life OK Now Awards. Sticking to Indian, the actress wore a beige and pink Manish Malhotra anarkali on the red carpet with a contrasting light pink duppata with silver sandals, gold earrings and a side braid.
For Vidya Balan, Hyderabad has been a very lucky place. The Dirty Picture as shot at Hyderabad and now Bobby Jasoos. When asked if the city would prove luck for her, a beaming Vidya Balan said, “Inshallah! Hyderabad has been lucky for me. The Dirty Picture has been a film that changed my life, but as an actor, I’d like to say that Bobby Jasoos has been my most precious experience. And I’ve been saying this from the time we started shooting.”
Vidya Balan even shared her most memorable experience of shooting for Bobby Jasoos, She said, “My first day of shoot was something I will never forget. I was shooting outside Nampally Railway Station, where I was disguised as a beggar. I kept putting my hand out to beg but no one seemed to be giving me anything. So, I caught hold of one woman who was passing by and tugged at her hand, asking her to give me something. She was in a hurry, but she turned around, looked at me and told me that I look absolutely able bodied and why don’t I do some work rather then beg. Now it was amazing that she just didn’t recognize me and I actually took that as a compliment.”
