The moment Anurag Kashyap and Amitabh Bachchan resolved their differences, they have been inseparable. It was during the release of Khelein Hum Jeen Jaan Sey, that the Bachchan’s and Kashyap had locked hands, when Anurag accused them of getting his version of the same story of Chitagong uprising delayed since Khelein Hum Jeen Jaan Sey was an Abhishek Bachchan film.
Well, time heals all wounds and today, they are best of friends. Mr. Bachchan’s television drama series Yudh has Anurag Kashyap as its creative director produced and now Mr. Bachchan will also be seen in a cameo in Ghoomketu that’s being produced by Vikramditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap.
Ghoomketu will see Anurag Kashyap in a full fledged role of a cop with a comic flair. His one liners will supposedly leave people in splits. Amitabh Bachchan will essay various roles and one of them will have him playing himself.
Ghoomketu is a film in a film concept and so he will be seen as an actor at work. The film is recently being shot and has Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead.
The title of the film itself sounds funny and with Anurag Kashyap as a comic relief in the film, one can expect a lot of funny one liners.
