One such activity that our Bollywood stars indulge in is patching up with supposed foes. It happens pretty often, but recently, such patch ups have a favourite hot spot, Award Ceremonies. Here are some of the patch ups that were quite eyebrow raising that took place at such fests.
1. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan
A lot of water has flown down the bridge and it seems both Salman and Shah Rukh Khan have learnt to accept the fact they cannot avoid every event because of their rivalry. It’s time to move on and they did so with immaculate grace. At the Renault Guild Awards this year, the inevitable happened and the two hugged. Only a few days earlier, they hugged at an iftar party and now this. Their fans went crazy after this XOXO!
2. Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan
During the press conference of Phir Milenge, Abhishek Bachchan and Salman Khan’s camaraderie was unmistakable. They looked too good a friend to be doubted. Enters Aishwarya Rai in Abhishek’s life, and a line was drawn. It was heartening to see them hug and keep past aside at the same awards night.
3. Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi
It’s just amazing how Salman is appearing too many times on this list. He again takes the high road here and congratulates Vivek Oberoi for his performance in Grand Masti. Remember 41 calls? Guess now, one call will be enough to bury this skeleton once and for all.
4. Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan with Rekha
At Screen Awards this year, an unfathomable thing happened. Not only Amitabh Bachchan but Jaya Bachchan too acknowledge Rekha’s presence at the do and even greeted her. Now that’s something you don’t get to see too often. Bachchan and Rekha’s alleged romance became the matter of major hoopla in those days. But it seems seniors too have decided to let bygones be bygones.
