Bollywood Celebs Who Took The ALS Bucket Challenge

[tps_footer]ALS, Amytrophic Lateral Sclerosis is a disease wherein a patient loses the power of movement and can survive for only a few months from the time it strikes the body. ALS Association triggered an ALS Bucket Challenge, a charity campaign to spread awareness about the disease. To get more traction, mostly celebs are challenged to dump a bucket or more on themselves full of ice. It is a chain campaign while one challenges the other. And whenever it is associated with a cause, our Bollywood celebs never stay behind. They joined in on some icy fun in hordes and here is a list of those who took it up.

Sunny Leone
People follow Sunny Leone across all platforms for obvious reasons but the obvious hardly happens on her account. But Sunny did take the challenge and doused herself with icy water. She kept it neat and short (she was wearing shorts). She was challenged by fans and family members. Ah…it was for family viewing only! Got it!

Poonam Pandey
And you guessed it right. When the siren is concerned, nothing can be subtle. Poonam posted the video of the challenge in her bathroom. She gets out of the robe wearing a two piece and drenching herself in ice water. Well, it didn’t seem too much fun for her!

Siddharth Malhotra
Siddharth Malhotra, the flavor of the season and the hot villain of this year, also joined the bandwagon soon enough after getting challenged by Riteish Deshmukh. And…he did look really hot in the wet look!

Sonakshi Sinha
For charity, Sonakshi is ready to do anything and she too soaked herself in ice cold water. But the video turned out really funny. She filled the bucket and with much effort lifted it up. But nothing much came out of it. And that’s where she differs. She reasoned the lack of water as a move not to waste so much water. People should rather donate money than waste water. Clever girl!

Akshay Kumar
Now that’s what we call a smart guy! Akshay Kumar took the challenge and completed it in Capetown where the temperature was freezing. He was shooting his dance reality show and wanted only one contestant to pour the ice cold water on him. But all 11 joined in. And guess what he did? He used sea water instead of fresh water so that nobody wastes it. Charity with brains, we say!

Bipasha Basu
Even after running with high fever, Bipasha took the challenge. Her bucket was small but he urged people to not go by the size. It is the gesture that counts. We agree, Bips!

Riteish Deshmukh
Riteish Deshmukh was shooting Bangistan when he decided to take up the challenge. He did it just right challenged nearly half of the industry in return. Guess that shows he’s friends with nearly half of the industry.

Abhishek Bachchan
Abhishek too joined the fray after his friend Riteish Deshmukh challenged him. He kept it restricted to his bathroom and in return, challenged his father, Shah Rukh Khan and the entire Happy New Year crew.
