Many Bollywood celebrities and political leaders were present when the massive fire broke out at ‘Make in India’ investment meet, but fortunately there were no casualties. Reports suggest, that it was caused due to a short circuit, which was brought under control and no one was hurt. Amitabh Bachchan, who was reciting poetry at the event, tweeted that he had a providential escape. The megastar had left the stage few minutes before the first broke out.
Bollywood’s megastar Big B took to his twitter handle to share that he is all-fine and that he escaped the massive accident at ‘Make In India’ event. He tweeted, “T 2145 – First Off : I am safe and well .. a providential escape from fire at Make in India event where i had just finished performing !”
All the VIPs including CM Devandra Fadnavis, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, Aamir Khan and Big B, were taken to the safer area. Approx 500 artists, estimated 50,000 people, many VIPs were present at the venue, which was exactly at Girgaum Chowpatty seafront.
