Bollywood’s Weekly Wrap Up

katiyabaaz[tps_footer]Last week again saw a lot of Bollywood trailer launches and perhaps some of the big ones. With the second half of the year already on, there is a flurry of biggies ready roll. Let’s find out what last week displayed.

The week began with a celebrity football match organised by Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan. Given her legacy, the who’s who of B-town landed on the field to Kick the ball. The battle was between Aamir Khan and Abhishek Bachchan with the former emerging victorious. But the star of the event was Aamir’s youngest son Azad Rao Khan. The little wonder was wonderful on the field.

The trailer launch this year began with Khoobsurat. Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan unveiled the first look of the film. Labelled as royal misfit, the reincarnation of 1980 Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s film by the same name, the story turned royal this time with more emphasis on romance.

While that was on, the recent Winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi, Rajneish Duggal unveiled his new film Spark. The launch however had no spark with only yesteryear rape specialist Ranjeet sharing how this will be his first Shareef role. Well…

Anurag Kashyap and his whole Phantom team gathered to unveil a documentary named Katiyabaaz. Based on electricity theft, the film looked amazing.

Coming next is the grand trailer launch of Priyanka Chopra that bowled us over. Nobody could have managed to do it convincingly like Priyanka did.

Thursday was devoted to Kick with Salman Khan interested to give interviews to one and all. But the day ended with the first episode preview of Masterchef Australia. The night was devoted to Kick again with a special screening held at a theatre. All in Salman’s good books made it to the theatre and came out raving it.[/tps_footer]
