‘Kapoor & Sons’ will be one of the first light hearted family oriented and romance centric movies to hit the screens this year. After the blockbuster film ‘Neerja’ no movies have been successful enough. ‘Airlift’ and ‘Neerja’ managed to get the maximum number of audiences at the screens for its concept.

It is speculated that the Shakun Batra directorial film is banking on its music for attracting the audiences at the screens. The songs of the film Kar Gayi Chull and Bolna Mahi are already favorites. With the fresh star cast the film is expected to see a lot of young crowd at the theaters.

The adding advantage to the film can be Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan who has an enormous fan following both on the home front and International front. The trailer of the film is adored by many, but the film is targeting only the youth which may be a hindrance.

Being a mixture of family drama and a romantic flick, ‘Kapoor & Sons Since 1921′ will hugely have to make a lasting first impression. With many people relying on reviews, the film will have to be strong in its story line as it is not based on real events and is a fiction. An added advantage is that there is no competition, no clash at the Box Office with any other film.

The film should see a decent opening at the Box Office of around 45%-55%.
