Finally, Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Fawad Khan, Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles has hit the screens. All the eyes are currently at the Box Office as the film has released today in a clash with Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay. Well, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has turned out to be the winner on the first day and moreover, Ranbir Kapoor is back with a bang after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. His last two films, Besharam and Bombay Velvet were a disaster at the Box Office. Well, ADHM will now slowly bring Ranbir Kapoor out of the fiasco.
The film saw an opening of around 35-40% in the morning shows and is expected to show growth during the evening and night shows. Moreover, the controversy of ban put on Pakistani actors from working on India has not affected the film much.
The initials of Ae Dl Hai Mushkil have taken it to Rs 15 crore nett plus and it remains to see what growth the film sees during the evening and night shows. But as far as the initial is considered, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is the third best of 2016 after Salman Khan’s Sultan and M.S Dhoni- The Untold Story.
