Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the alluring lady of Bollywood who missed the first of her two scheduled appearances (16th and 21st of May) at the 67th Cannes International Film Festival due to an air traffic controllers’ strike in France, will now take to the red carpet at the gala on May 20, 2014.
Aishwarya represents global cosmetics brand L’Oréal Paris, and due to her flight delay, the L’Oreal team made quick arrangements for her appearance on an alternate day.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Freida Pinto, Natasha Poly and Eva Longoria, all four brand ambassadors came together for a fun afternoon of shooting an ad for L’Oréal Paris.
While Aishwarya is seen in a white business suit, the other three divas are seen in white gowns. Freida, Eva and Natasha are flaunting their style and Aishwarya is elegantly posing in formal wear. She spruced up her look with the luscious red lip colour.
It seemed the ladies were having a blast in between shots. Both Aishwarya and Freida were excited about the shoot.
Freida Pinto was quite excited to be doing a shoot with Aishwarya and immediately got up to greet and hug her when she came into the L’Oréal Paris Glamour Room at The Martinez.
“I have met Freida for the first time in person. All of us L’Oréal Paris spokespeople are so different, but each one of us is worth it,” Aishwarya said in a statement.
This year it will be Aishwarya Rai’ Bachchan‘s 14th appearance at Cannes. The Diva’s first visit was in the year 2003, being the first Indian actress to walk to red carpet at the prestigious film festival, and ever since her debut at Cannes, the beautiful actress is seen every year illuminating the red carpet with her enduring charm.
