[tps_footer]Shweta Basu Prasad has been caught, arrested and lodged in special women’s cell for being part of a prostitution racket. Ever since her involvement in the case came out in the open, the social media has been filled with various reactions with the whole industry taking note of it. Many have spoken about it while many refused to do so. Here are some of the reactions that the industry came up with.
1. When Rani Mukerji was asked to comment on Shweta Basu’s arrest and her involvement in prostituition, she avoided the question altogether.
2. Sakshi Tanwar, who played her mother in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, has come out strongly in support of the Shweta. She has people to stop talking evil about Shweta and her character. Instead people should do something to bring out the names of those businessmen who were the clients here.
3. Nagesh Kukunoor who worked with Shweta Basu in Iqbal also requested people to let her be. “My take on Shweta Prasad. Great actress (Iqbal). Sweet wonderful girl. Don’t judge her and leave her be for god’s sake!!!,” posted Nagesh.
4. Hansal Mehta, the director of Shahid, had even gone ahead and offered her a film because he believes she is a great actress.
Had they been more supportive of her when she was going through tough times, things wouldn’t have gone so far.
