Celebs Who Refused To Take The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

[tps_footer]Our celebs jump to any cause which means helping others. Recently, they made a beeline to be part of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. We don’t if pouring ice water on yourself earned the victims any relief but they made sure they were a part of it. However, there were others who refused to be part of this trend. Here are the negators:

Priyanka Chopra
It seems Priyanka Chopra is happy being part of inspirational stories rather than get inspired by ice bucket challenges. She refused to join in and tweeted, “Thank u for all the nominations but…” She even shared an article by Australian Newsreader, which shows other ways of helping a cause.

Sonam Kapoor
Not many associate brainy quotes with Sonam Kapoor but this time the lady is refreshingly correct. Sonam was challenged by Pulkit Samrat to dunk the ice bucket on her but she shot it down and didn’t mind being rude about it. She tweeted, “@PulkitSamrat already made a donation!! Not dumping water L waste of resources!” But she didn’t mention where that donation went!

Rahul Bose
Rahul Bose is the most taleneted actor India has ever seen. He goes for quality rather than quantity which is why we see him so less on screen. What also keeps him going are his various charitable works. So when Tennis player Rohan Bopanna challenged Rahul for it, he refused it politely saying, “Been chosen by Rohan Bopanna for #icebucketchallenge to raise money/awareness for ALS. Hv decided not waste clean water, but will donate! (sic)”

Pamela Anderson
Pamela Anderson too didn’t want to be part of the trending fad but wasting resources weren’t her concern. She wrote, “Sorry-I can’t bring myself to do your #icebucketchallenge. Recent experiements funded by the ALS Association, mice had holes drilled into their skulls, were inflicted with crippling illnesses, and were forced to run on an inclined treadmill until they collapse with exhaustion.”

Charlie Sheen
Charlie Sheen is famous for the Two and Half Men series and the controversies that plagued the show. He is pretty popular in India for his eccentric behavior as well. Rather than filling his bucket with ice cold water, he filled it with $10,000 and dunked it on him. He later promised to donate money for the cause.
