MUMBAI: It is going to be a ‘Chopra Weekend’ on 6 September as the sisters claim. Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra will have their films, ‘Zanjeer’ and ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ releasing on the same day.
But the sisters insist that one does not make a hue and cry and write about competition. Both Parineeti Chopra and Priyanka aren’t quite bothered about sharing a common release date.
“She is my sister, my family. It is very cheap when people try to create controversy and use that to write about this,” says Priyanka.
When Business Of Cinema spoke to Parineeti Chopra, she also shared similar views. “We are a part of the same family. We don’t discuss our movies. She watches my films and I watch hers. There is no competition or rivalry between us.”
One has often heard of sibling rivalries, but here there’s none. While a lot of stars clash over box-office, the Chopra sisters are happy and at peace sharing a release date!
