[tps_footer]Shuddhi is an ambitious subject for Karan Johar. He has been trying to piece together a power-packed cast to take things forward. After changing many hands, the film will finally take shape and that too with Salman Khan in it.
It is has been heard that Salman only recently signed the film with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. This will mark their second venture after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Shuddhi went through a lot of cast reshuffle. It was supposed to be the comeback film for the Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor pairing which created a lot of roar back in 2001 and 2002. But due to Hrithik’s health issues the film got delayed and later Kareena opted out of it.
Later, we heard Aamir Khan has been earmarked for the same which too was just a rumour. Later with the rise of Heropanti, Tiger Shroff’s name too cropped up but now it is confirmed that Salman will be the lead in Shuddhi. We wonder what the film will be now. It is supposedly a period drama and as far as we know, Salman Khan’s luck with period films has not been too welcoming. But Shuddhi might change it all.[/tps_footer]
