Well, we are super excited to know that superstar Salman Khan is all set to return as the beloved fearless cop, Chulbul Pandey in Dabangg 3. Dabangg 3 will go on the floors in mid-2018 and after a lot of speculations; it is finally confirmed who will direct the film.
According to reports, none other than Prabhudeva will direct Dabangg 3. Bollywood Hungama quotes Prabhudeva saying, “I was in Mumbai last week to finalize all the details. Yes, I am directing Dabangg 3 for Salman and Arbaaz Khan. Who says no to them?”
“We’ve been closely associated for the longest time. I share a warm friendship with Salman Khan and his brothers. When Salman and Arbaaz asked me to direct Dabangg 3 there was no question of saying no,” added Prabhudeva
Prabhudeva reveals that he would like to give his own touch to the sequel and that he hasn’t watched the earlier segments of the franchise. “I’d like to give it my own spin. Of course we all know what Salman’s Chulbul Pandey is all about. That sense of masti will remain in the cop’s role,” says the director.
Further adding about the cast, he said, “Everything including the cast remains the same. Salman, Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz… the music will be by Sajid-Wajid. Everything in Dabangg is unchanged except me: the director.”
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently busy filming Race 3, which stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Daisy Shah. Soon after wrapping up the shooting of Race 3, the superstar will start prepping up for Dabangg. Salman Khan played a cop Chulbul Pandey in both Dabangg and Dabangg 2. He will reprise his role in part 3 as well.
