Danish (Raja) Claims Copyright Infringement Against Rohan Mehra & Kate Sharma Starrer New Song “JEE RAHA HOON”

jee raha hoon

Rohan Mehra- Kate Sharma’s New Song that’s all set to release on October 31, 2018 has already fallen in a legal soup even before it’s release. The song has been stolen from him and that the song originally belongs to him.

When contacted the original maker of the song, Danish he revealed, “I have produced the song under Dreampinch films production , and on papers, I have all the rights over the music as well as the lyrics. A singer called Keshav kumar Prasad, leaked the song to a third party named Vinit Jain, founder – Voilà! Digi which is a sister concern of Venus worldwide entertainment pvt ltd. From the poster they released, We understand that they created a video on it starring television actor Rohan Mehra and Kate Sharma and they are releasing the song on October 31st. It was a shock and surprise for the Music director and lyricist to know that their names had been used in the poster by Voila! Digi. The poster contains the names of my team without even an agreement. It’s a clear case of copyright infringement. We have already registered a police complaint with versova police station. The investigation is going on.
I am sure I have all the rights as per law. We have issued notices to all the accused and also sent a copy to Gaana.com(times internet)

Versova police has already issued a notice to Keshav prasad to submit proof of him being the owner of the copyright but it’s been 4 days he failed to submit any documents.

Keshav, who is the singer, did this whole fraud. From his claims We anticipate that He made fake documents and pitched it to Venus and claimed the ownership of the rights of over song and these people even made the video of the song with Rohan and Kate.”
Danish Lawyer, said that this is a clear case of copyright infringement under section 51 read with section 63 of copyright act 1957. Copyright infringement is the use of copyrighted work such as the right to reproduce, distribute, display or perform the protected work, or to make derivative works without the permission of the author. We have already issued Cease & desist Notice to Mr. Keshav Prasad who is the prime accused and Mr. Vinit Jain & Karishma chajjer – voila! Digi. And a copy of the notices has been sent to times internet. In the meanwhile, we have also registered a police complaint.
