Dawaat E Ishq is a very important film. Not for us but for Aditya Roy Kapur. The guy has been reeling under the curse of being a side-kick in his early films when Aashiqui 2 happened to him. Now his second solo release is ready to hit the screens in a week’s time and he needs to get a hit again. Why? Here are the reasons…
1. Aashiqui 2 was a huge hit. A 9 crore film earned 100 crore for its makers and so nobody can deny its success. But not many credit Aditya Roy Kapoor for the film since it is the music which did the maximum job for the film.
2. He has been till now playing sidekicks to Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar and Ranbir Kapoor. He has to prove enough to move out from their shadows.
3. His personal life is much in news with him not owning up to his affair with Shraddha Kapoor but this film has Parineeti opposite him and so he cannot use the personal buzz to his credit.
4. He has to work again as a solo hero for people to take him seriously as him. But then he has Disney UTV to fall back on.
