Deepika Padukone is a very sought after actress these days. Everybody wants to work with her and it seems she doesn’t want to let go of any opportunity. But it seems she has bitten more than she can chew.
Deepika is presently very busy with the promotions of Happy New Year. Since it’s a Shah Rukh Khan film, promotions will be extensive and exhaustive. Once this gets over she will wrap up Imtiaz Ali‘s Tamasha with Ranbir Kapoor which has been apparently put on hold because of HNY promotions.
However, Bajirao Mastani also awaits her kind presence since she is the lead in the film opposite Ranveer Singh. She had committed to join the shoot once HNY‘s obligations get over but now she has decided to wrap up Tamasha.

Then there is Piku to start which puts her opposite Farhan Akhtar and Amitabh Bachchan. Not to forget a Homi Adajania film is also awaiting her attention.
Now Deepika isn’t a Sonakshi Sinha who generally has a song and two dialogues to perform in every film and so can easily hop from one set to another. She plays the lead role with meatier screen space in all the films.
Deepika, you will need time to breathe as well.
