Everyone was shocked when Bollywood’s Big B, Amitabh Bachchan was nowhere to be seen at his own film, Piku’s bash hosted by his co-star Deepika Padukone. Everyone simply assumed that Big B, who went missing from few of promotional activities of his film before due to his health issues, missed the success bash because he was unwell. However, a revelation on the same issue by Amitabh Bachchan himself shocked everyone.
During an interview, the star was asked why he was missing from the party, to which Amitabh revealed that he was not at Piku success bash because the star never received the invitation from Deepika’s side. Yes, Amitabh wasn’t invited for the Piku bash held by Deepika Padukone in the first place! This gave way to a lot of rumours pointing that the things were not actually good between Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan.
To clear the air and put an end to all the rumours, Deepika Padukone talked about the issue in a recent interview. Happy New Year star revealed that it was a technical error on her part and she’ll never forgive herself for it.
“It was a major technical error on my part and by the time it came to my notice it was too late and I’ll never forgive myself for it,” Deepika said. When asked if she called Big B to clear the air about the error, the actress revealed that she feels so embarrassed that she has no courage to pick up the phone and explain herself to the actor.
However, the actress did text her Piku co-star Amitabh Bachchan about the technical error couple of days back. The actress plans on explaining everything to the star herself over a good conversation.
