Sriram Raghavan is all set to get busy with his upcoming film and the director has already found a script to work on. Yes, reportedly director Sriram Raghavan bought the rights of the popular book ‘The Accidental Apprentice’ of famous writer Vikas Swarup and for this film, the director wants to cast Deepika Padukone as the female lead.

According to reports, the director wants to have Deepika Padukone on board for the film and if rumours are anywhere to be true, the actress is very much interested in the script as well. Yes, apparently Deepika Padukone was informed about the film’s story and script, the actress, who is quite busy with Piku, Bajirao Mastani and Tamasha this year, asked the director Sriram to finish the script before any official commitments.

The film will have quite an interesting female character and for the role, Deepika perfectly fits the bill. Director Sriram‘s this upcoming film will most likely go on floors this year. The Badlapur director even confirmed the news saying, “We have got the rights but no actor has been signed yet. I am still writing the script.”

However, the director kept his silence over the rumours about Deepika being on board and made it clear that no actor has been yet signed.
