The most hyped films of the year Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani are going to clash on the big screen. Both the highly anticipated movies will be releasing on the same date i.e. December 18.
Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale which stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol along with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon was initially supposed to hit the screens on December 25; however the most romantic star SRK cleared the air about the same and shared on his twitter handle, “@RedChilliesEnt: Get ready for #DILWALE this December, Rohit Shetty Ishtyle! #Dilwale18Dec ”

Whereas Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious project Bajirao Mastani which stars Ram-leela stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra is also set to hit the screens on December 18th. Based on the life of Peshwa Bajirao; Bajirao Mastani is a historical romantic drama. Glamorous diva Priyanka will be seen essaying the role of Peshwa’s first wife Kashibai whereas Deepika will be playing the character of second wife Mastani.

Coming back to Dilwale, the movie is very much on the audience’s mind because SRK and Kajol will be seen sharing the screen space together after many years, the hit Jodi is a favorite of the masses and that is what makes the film special.
On the other hand Bajirao Mastani is a dream project of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and is also garnering lots of attention after Ranveer and Deepika’s amazing chemistry in their film Ram Leela, the audience is curious to witness the same in the film Bajirao Mastani also.
Even earlier Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films and SRK’s films have clashed at the box office. The two biggies were neck to neck even during Om Shanti Om and Saawariya. Now which movie wins the throne of becoming the blockbuster only time will tell!
