MUMBAI: The theatrical trailer of one of the most awaited film of 2013 – ‘Dhoom 3’ crossed 1 million views within the span of 24 hours of its being published!
Starring Aamir Khan as ‘Sahir’, the clown thief, Abhishek Bachchan as ‘Jai’ the supercop, Uday Chopra as ‘Ali’ the ace biker and Katrina Kaif as ‘Aaliya’ the acrobatic diva – the trailer of this year ender has received tremendous response.
Published just two days before the release of another highly talked about film this year – Hrithik Roshan‘s superhero franchise ‘Krrish 3’, the atmosphere in Bollywood has certainly gotten charged up.
Revealed an industry insider, “The Roshans had no clue about it. It was Aamir’s idea to show the new theatrical trailer of ‘Dhoom 3‘ on 30 October. He persuaded Aditya Chopra to have the event with all the stars including Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra. The big launch was on Wednesday while ‘Krrish 3’ releases on Friday!”
Interestingly, when the ‘Krrish 3‘ trailer had released in August this year, it had also garnered a notable response, about 12 million in 10 days. The trailer left behind two of the biggest super hero releases of Hollywood, ‘Avengers’ and ‘Thor’.
