And recently it was Dilip Kumar, who was caught in a legal trouble related to the bouncing of cheques, 18 years ago. That’s a long time for a case to go on and it’s so hectic and tiring at the age of 94 to run for legal proceedings and give statements to maintain records again and again.

This case about a cement company that had filed the case in 1998 against Dilip Kumar and three other people who were then directors of a trading firm. It was alleged that the cement company had invested around Rs 1 crore in the this company where the actor was one of the directors. When the cement company sought repayment, the trading company had agreed to repay and issued cheques but, they claimed that all the cheques had bounced and they got no repayment till today.
But nothing could be proved against the actor in the court and so all the allegations of the cement company officials were dropped against Dilip sir and he is a free man now from all the judiciary proceedings. A day for Saira Banu and Dilip sir to celebrate a new victory and relief from a false case.
Saira Bano and all the fans and well wishers of Dilip Sahab have been really worried for his health. She had tweeted,
Breaks my heart to inform @TheDilipKumar fans. tomm, Tuesday, 18-yr-old court case in which Saab has been associated.”
And then another tweet from her, appreciating the commitment of Dilip sir, “At 94 yrs, Saab’s health is delicate, facing neurological problems, yet Saab has never prayed for case adjournment,”

Hats off to the patience in him !! And a grand salute to Saira Bano for always being with him by his side. A beautiful example to all the couples already gone through break ups and divorces or are going through and the ones planning for it. This is love. That’s how a relationship is. A lot of respect and love to both Saira ji and Dilip ji from us too.
