However, sadly for fans of the director-producer, the number of film made by him declined till they vanished without a trace. But with ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ the maestro coupled with his evergreen ‘Prem’ played by Salman Khan was back with a bang!
In the past few weeks, the media was rife with rumors that Salman Khan’s next with Barjatya was going to be an out and out action film! Quashing all rumours that his next film would be an out-and-out action film, Sooraj Barjatya has confirmed that while his new venture will certainly feature Salman Khan, it is definitely not going be an action film.
Speaking at Zee Cine Awards recently, Sooraj said, ‘This is far from the truth actually. While I am working on a subject currently, it is definitely not an action film as is being speculated. I will absolutely not make an action film. But yes, definitely I will make it with Salman.” When asked if he would consider making a biopic, Barjatya said that he would certainly consider doing so. According to him family has been his biggest inspiration to make a film on and that there are still many stories to be told.
Considering how ‘Larger-than-life’ Salman Khan & and his family is, we can’t help but wonder if Barjatya will consider giving the ‘Being Human’ star’s story a fair shot. After all, who else would we rather see under the Barjatya name essaying the role of Prem?
