MUMBAI: On the invitation of local NCP leader, Kiran Dagade Patil, adult star Sunny Leone will be attending a Dahi Handi celebration in Pune. A group called Akhil Bawdhan, Dahi Handi Mandal has organised the event. Kiran shares, “This year we decided room bring Sunny Leone and through our friend, we managed to rope her in and decided to pay Rs. 5 lakhs for her presence.”
This comes on the heels of NCP members of the Mumbai unit having expressed displeasure of the actress’s bold poses and hoardings of Jism 2. Even NCP MP and former city party president, Vandana Chawan is surprised and is keen to take up the issue with the party high command. “There is a drought-like situation in the state and it is surprising to know that people are ready to spend Rs. 5 lakhs to invite a celebrity as a chief guest,” she said.
